Throughout my life, I have been fascinated by how technology has played an influential role in the society we have today. As a result, I studied a Bachelor of Information Technology, where I developed an understanding of business practice and technical skills required in IT and how to apply IT solutions to business challenges. As a co-operative scholarship degree recipient, I had the opportunity to complete two six-month internships as part of my tertiary studies in the public and private sectors. These opportunities allowed me to develop valuable professional skills, gain experience in IT projects and processes, and develop an appreciation for the variety of work and priorities available within the ICT industry. I am also passionate about engaging with the broader community, demonstrated by my regular volunteering commitments for non-for-profit organisations and at major events, and holding leadership responsibilities as a club executive and student representative on university governance committees. These opportunities have allowed me to fulfil my passion for always being in the service of others and delivering the best experiences and outcomes possible, knowing that you have put the purpose of others above your own.
