Developed a simulator for autonomous agents based on the space combat game Xpilot. Implemented primitive traits focused on agent movement, including enemy tracking, path finding, and wall avoidance. Wrote a program for parsing and editing ASCII maps, and implemented Dijkstra's and other algorithms for path finding. Worked with algorithms related to group and swarm behaviors, including message passing and Boids algorithm for flocking. Reviewed research papers about Xpilot and topics related to agent autonomy, such as genetic programming, neural networks, and collaborative autonomy. Extensive use of C in a Linux environment, as well as some bash scripting.
