Matthew is a final-year student at Edith Cowan University, with a focus on Accounting within the Bachelor of Commerce. This degree has aided in the development of his teamwork, analytical, and communication skills. He is able to effectively find pertinent information for a task, and consolidate it into a presentation. These skills have all contributed to his work experience. Within the workspace, he has started to develop leadership skills. This has enabled him to allocate tasks, and communicate with team members concisely and effectively under high-pressure situations while juggling several different tasks at once. Both the university and workplace experiences have helped Matthew prepare for a more extensive work-space experience in different areas of the accounting industry.In his personal life, he is involved in his local church and the wider community through the church. Outside the church, he has an intense interest in history and ancient philosophy, reading many books on these subjects, with a focus on a wide range of time periods, and countries.
