As a Senior Technician I apply technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. Provide and maintain a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the NYUHS user community. This includes running, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems, servers, networks, and/or desktop environments; responding promptly and effectively to customer problems. Directly resolve the problems or escalate to the appropriate resource and monitor its effective resolution. Receive general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely. Maintain excellent communication with MCIT Clinical Affairs team members. Maintain and promote high-quality standards for support.

As a Lab Technician II, I am responsible for maintaining the computer labs by making sure software remains up-to-date and hardware is in working order for individual student and classroom use. Hardware includes AV equipment such as; Extron controllers, switchers and touch panels for conferences and virtual zoom classes. I supervise our student intern group by offering project tasks to help build skills for future employment, mentorship and training in the IT field regardless of major. I perform ticket system management, collaborate on and lead projects as given by my supervisor.

As a Senior Computer Technician at The Door, I was responsible for analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions. I also, maintained company PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks included end user support, hardware and license tracking, and coordinating PC maintenance, upgrades, configurations for all departments including our health center and in house charter school.

As the IT Support Coordinator, I provided technical support and expertise for integrating informational, instructional, and media technologies services, projects, and activities in support of students, teachers, and staff.

As the IT Coordinator, I was responsible for providing leadership in instructional technology, curriculum support, and staff technology training school wide. Provided support to teachers, administrators and other appropriated district personnel, programs and enterprise applications such as Power School and ATS.
