Lead Scientist, Materials at MetalloBio where I am responsible for the development and production of antimicrobial coatings and materials. I am particularly interested in medical device coatings to combat healthcare aquired infections but also apply MetalloBio's novel compounds to multiple different materials to impart an antimicrobial functionality.PhD in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine from the University of Leeds. University of Leeds integrated masters chemistry graduate. Year in industry at Unilever Global Design Centre in Leeds working in R&D. Registered Scientist with the Royal Society of Chemistry.I am interested in the development, innovation and translation of medical technology with experience from being a Young Entrepreneur Scheme finalist.
