Matthew is an Associate Director and Chartered Town Planner with over 12 years experience working on a wide variety of projects in both the public and private sectors. Matthew leads a team based in the Reading Office and specialises in developing transport strategies for a range of existing and proposed schemes including universities, schools, employment and housing developments.Matthew is experienced in providing advice to developers and land owners as various stages from initial feasibility studies, preparation of evidence to support allocations within development plan documents, and appearance at Examination in Public through to undertaking detailed Transport Assessments in support of planning applications and negotiating with officers to secure planning consents.In addition, Matthew has a wealth of experience in providing transport related inputs into Environmental Statements. He has undertaken detailed environmental assessments of the transport impacts of a diverse range of schemes including waste sites, an airport expansion, wind farm developments, large scale residential developments and a port development.
