I worked to help design the Direct Fusion Drive rocket engine that PSS has been working on. The project is a NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts grant winner. I worked to size and design various components of the engine. These include a Brayton cooling system, shielding for the reactor, superconducting coils to heat and shape the plasma and structural.

Worked with Professor Daniel Steingart to design and test a revamped Sophomore Lab Curriculum. Researched and tested 4 new labs to help demonstrate the concepts of Thermodynamics, utilizing Particle micro-controllers and hundreds of lines of Python code. Designed, built and tested the four week final design project to be used for the course in the Fall.
