Since 2021, I've worked at Mainely Tubs, Maine's largest retail hot tub company, as a Lead Customer Success Associate. It's a position centered around reaching out to our customers who recently purchased a new tub and serving as a resource for them to better understand the product. We also proactively reach out to identify any problems that may have arisen in the early stages of owning the tub. Prior to my hiring, this position didn't exist, and I worked with management and the service department to design it and figure out how it would work and evolve over time. Prior to Mainely Tubs, I worked for more than eight years at the Sun Journal, a daily newspaper in Lewiston, Maine. During my time there, I reported on court proceedings, crime, new businesses, and municipal government. I have a strong understanding of AP style writing, and through my nine years here, I crafted strong time management skills and became adept at juggling multiple tasks and assignments at once.In 2016, I was accepted as a journalism fellow at the 6th annual New England First Amendment Institute in Dedham, MA. Here, I became well-versed in drafting FOIA requests and learned how to become a better investigative reporter.
