About Matthew De La Bastide
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, I've worked a lot helping kids who can't afford high-quality education and exposing young students to the STEM field through engineering camps.Since then, I've worked on developing my technological skills - I've become proficient in five different programming languages; built three different mobile apps involving voice automation, games, and the Internet of Things; and have since been working on projects involving facial recognition, neural networks, and motor control.I currently work in Project Management and have experience in MEP services as an engineering consultant, an environmental consultant on large projects in Trinidad, and a teacher in STEM education. My experience in programming & automation for these companies helps save them time and money in the long run.I am especially passionate about leading teams, learning new things, and solving challenging problems. I'm always looking for opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge.
