Hse Operations Associate
CurrentProvide a range of health and safety services in accordance with established agreements with clients, these may include:• Development or review of a clients Project Specific Safety Plan• Verification of the presence of legally required on-site health and safety documentation• Periodic review of training records and trade certifications of on-site workers.• Collecting, reviewing and filing health and safety records provided at, and created during the project.• Regular observation of site work activities via walkabouts with focus on high-risk operations and conditions.• Preparation of site-tour observation reports, identifying conditions requiring corrective action andcommunicating to appropriate parties, using our own or client formats.• Field reviews of machinery, equipment and tools to ensure required certifications, pre-use inspection,preventive maintenance and required documentation (e.g. operators' manuals, engineer's drawings, etc.)• Assistance with preparing or reviewing pre-job hazard assessments for client's direct operations.• Review of health and safety program documents and safety plans for high-risk operations.• Reviewing high-risk work activity authorization permits.• Scheduling and attending health and safety committee meetings.• Delivering training on various HSE topics within your scope of competency.• Assisting in response to on-site incidents or accidents on client sites.• Assisting in conducting incident investigations and preparing reports.• Providing advice to clients and their personnel on a range of health, safety and environmental issues.• Utilizing a range of software systems to support performance of your duties.
