As the Managing Principal for Deckman Consulting, I specialize in assisting financial advisors in all aspects of support and client service for both private and corporate clients. My skills include a very sound understanding of the 401(k) market and help analyze plans for areas of opportunity and possible deficiencies. I currently help service over $100 million in 401(k) plan assets for over 25 companies and 2,000 employees on a day to day basis. On the private client side, I assist in retirement income planning, new account setup, client acquisition, and day to day service for over 100 individual clients. In addition to running Deckman Consulting, I am a part-time supervisor for UPS. My current responsibilities include training new employees, monitor each load for accuracy, ensure all daily paperwork is in order, ensure that the drivers are ready to deliver to our customers and maintain a positive environment for our employees. I work directly with other part-time and full-time management to make sure that the daily operation as a whole runs smoothly.Most of my career was spent in big box retail management including managing several large stores, such as Giant Foods, The Home Depot and Bed Bath & Beyond. My extensive training and expertise in providing an extraordinary customer experience, monitoring P&L statements and margin analysis have helped for an easy transition into the financial services industry. I have a love of the outdoors and enjoy hunting, fishing, boating and going to the beach. I am also very passionate about baseball and teaching the game to kids. I have been a manager and coach for the past several years and thrive on helping children not only learn the game, but also teaching them teamwork, respect, and dedication. In 2014 I took over as President of Avon Grove Area Little League and serviced in that role through 2017. I live in beautiful southern Chester County, PA with my wife Deborah and our three amazing children.
