I was born and raised in Atlanta, attended Georgia State University and am looking to re-connect with my hometown in a way that serves the community that I grew up in. Most of my day-to-day at my current job is spent developing the relationship between our retail brand and the community through events, as well as executing these events for our partners. I do this in four markets across and would like to continue to focus my efforts in one community or area that I really feel tied to. I believe that passion for representing products that help people, paired with my marketing and event management skills would be a great fit for this position.My biggest strengths lie in project/event management, developing programs, vendor relationships, public speaking , technical driven writing and being an overall “social chameleon” . I have worked on numerous large scale events and projects including The Color Run, The Adventure Run, the 13.1 Half Marathon and The Peachtree Road Race training program, as well as developing vendor relations with brands like Team In Training, Team Challenge, the Atlanta Tri Club and The Atlanta Track Club. My passion for event management and marketing has been present in the last year and a half of my career and I would love to take that to the next level here in Atlanta and beyond.
