Business Systems Analyst
Current• Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams to analyze, design, and test mission-critical business software in the mortgage origination and underwriting technology area• Perform detailed analysis of the current business systems including front-end functionality, backend databases, system interfaces, business rules and logic, and other system processes• Conduct user interviews and gather a comprehensive set of business scenarios• Query database using SQL to retrieve and analyze data content and structure• Identify the impact of proposed modifications or replacement components• Use a creative yet structured approach to build functional designs for various new custom-designed components including front-end user interfaces, data model, back-end system interfaces, and complex Excel models and reports• Produce screen and report mockups and build interactive system prototypes• Write detailed specification documents, including field-level requirements, database field mappings, and pseudo logic• Produce comprehensive test plans, test scenario matrixes, and automated testing scripts• Build excel workbooks to determine expected results and validate system calculations• Perform rigorous matrix-style system testing on web and mobile applications and facilitate UAT• Respond to user “how to” questions and enhancement requests; troubleshoot user issues• Conduct new user training and new module release training; build training videos
