I have over 20 years’ experience working in practice. I started my career as a trainee in Taunton before qualifying in 2001. Following my move to Bristol, I joined BNS, and subsequently Dunkley’s after a company buyout. Since being with Dunkley’s, I have maintained a strong relationship with my clients from BNS, a number of which are still clients at Dunkley’s and have progressed my career further to become one of Dunkley’s Directors.Throughout my career, I have specialised in company audit and as a result I am now one of Dunkley’s Audit Partners. I am responsible for overseeing all audit clients and managing the audit team to ensure they deliver quality, timely audits whilst remaining personal, hands-on, and focused. In more recent years, I have evolved my specialisms to include independent valuations and dentists. I provide independent valuations for a variety of purposes, may that be a shareholder dispute, a potential sale, the breakdown of a relationship or simply a year-end audit process. No matter what the requirement, I will give confidence and clarity on the full picture of a business. Dental practices, associates, hygienists, and technicians make up a large proportion of my client portfolio. I specialise in supporting them with everything from tax planning, advising practice incorporations and appropriate business structures right through to buying, starting, and selling a practice. With my vast experience, I believe I am well placed to advise clients at all stages of their dental career.
