Managing DirectorComposite Stands | Get Your Gear Off The Ground Jul 2016 - PresentBrisbane, Queensland, AuA privately held business founded to commercialise the Composite Stands product range developed by JP Composites Pty Ltd. Composite Stands make a range of specialised light weight, extremely strong industrial equipment support stand(s) and associated equipment for industries globally. These range in capacity from 15,000kgs through to 75,000kgs. Ultimately, improving operational productivity, process improvement and the safety for a vast range of end users.Composite Stands utilise Aerospace technology processes to manufacture equipment support stands which are used to support heavy elevated machinery during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities – equipment support stands are essential maintenance support items in every workshop, globally. The principal advantage of Composite Stands is their lightweight nature, reducing time and labour required during usage and the risks associated with manual handling. We employ advanced Aerospace technology composite materials, lightweight alloys that weigh significantly less than comparable steel products presently used for such tasks across industries throughout the world. Commonly less than ⅓ of the weight. Composite Stands are cost-effective and have a short payback period. They are made up of a durable cast Steel engagement head, handle and a strong die-cast Aluminium base (all cast parts are Powder Coated to maximise a maintenance-free service life) – The Composite support shaft is the major structural element and the major item of proprietary manufacturing value. Equipment support stands are used throughout the world in all areas where heavy machinery is deployed – including industries such as transport road/rail/port, construction, aviation, agriculture and mining – the ‘addressable’ market is global and profoundly large. w: www.compositestands.com.aue: mdow@compositestands.com.au -
