I have over 15 years experience in the town planning and development sector. My career started in local authority in the UK which provided invaluable working knowledge of the planning system and a real understanding of the local issues arising from development proposals. Keen to broaden my horizons, I moved to the private sector where he spent 10 years working for established London based consultancies where I advised on various types of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The list and types of projects is diverse, ranging from: agricultural conversions in the countryside to office developments in the City: home extensions to urban extensions: green belt to brownfield: 1 dwelling to hundreds of dwellings: single storey to multi-storey. The list is endless. I have a considerable amount of experience in the planning appeals process whether through the written reps, hearing or public inquiry procedures and more often than not, my contribution has achieved favourable outcomes for those I've represented.Currently, I am based in Malawi and I am continuing to broaden my horizons by seeking new opportunities both here, across Southern Africa and in the UK.
