Oversee Stockton Fire Safety Division (OSH) including but not limited to Code of Safe Work Practices implementation Worker Compensation, Safety Committee Chair, Near Miss Reporting, Cal OSHA Citation Management & Resolution, Risk Management and Loss Reduction Efforts. Modesto Junior College's Regional Fire Training Center offers a 530 hour California State Fire Marshal approved Fire Academy Program. Located in Modesto, California, the RFTC has offered our Fire Academy since 1994. Two Academy classes are held each year, one in the spring semester and one in the fall.

A Fire Marshal is a sworn Chief Officer and is an experienced firefighter. The Fire Marshal will conduct Califonia Fire Code (CFC) related inspections.
