I am a passionate and dedicated sports performance practitioner specialising in biomechanical and physiological analysis. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and MSc in Sports Performance from the University of Portsmouth, and am a UKSCA Accreditted S&C Coach (ASCC) and BASES Certified Exercise Practitioner. I also hold qualifications as a CIMSPA registered Master Personal Trainer and GP Exercise Referral specialist and British Gymnastics registered Men's Artistic Gymnastics Coach and National Judge. Throughout my studies, I have become very insightful into how academic research can be applied to athlete development in order to maximise results. This has fuelled my passion for infusing sports science into sports practice, with the aim of furthering sports performance by bridging the gap between academia and athlete development.My work as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer through my own business, MD Performance, and also as a gymnastics coach at various gymnastics clubs has given me opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills with proven results, particularly within elite national and international athletes, military applicants and injury prevention and rehabilitation.
