Partner with stakeholders to grant convening space at The Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice to grantees and mission-aligned non-profits, furthering the vision to make the Center a convening hub Manager, Event and Venue Operations, 2023 – present●Lead day-to-day event and venue operations of the Center for Social Justice, including supervision and mentorship of Venue Coordination staff●Manage event review process for grantee applicants, partnering with director to lead and assess a thoughtful system to evaluate and respond to requests and inquiries●Project manage assigned event portfolio, from agenda to execution, partnering with grantee and tenant organizations in the planning and implementation of events●Lead tracking and assessment venue policies; guide director in making strategic decisions

• Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates a variety of public programs that interpret the Museum's permanent collections and special exhibitions. These programs include live performances, films, lectures, dance parties, and interactive activities for general audiences as well as programs for academic and university-affiliated audiences • Oversees Museum collaborations with institutions of higher learning, and is the primary liaison between Museum staff and academic collaborators, working together to accomplish common goals and build relationships with partner institutions.• Collaborates with Public Programs staff to design and implement over 500 culturally sensitive exhibition-inspired public programs annually including Target First Saturdays, a free, monthly community event serving over 60,000 visitors each year• Develops and teaches inquiry-based lessons for pre-college and university groups which support classroom curricula • Initiates new models for museum and university partnership to support student interactions with collection beyond curriculum alignment toward skill building and personal empowerment• Maintains communication and strong relations with community partners and colleges throughout New York City• Assists in the hiring, training, and supervision of college interns and full-time Intern Educators in public programming, gallery teaching, and career development • Creates, updates, and edits social media, publication texts, and educational resources for public programs.

• Created Guided Gallery Visits for Pre-K to 12th grade groups supporting the NYC Department of Education Scope & Sequence for Social Studies and Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Visual Arts • Produced exhibition-based public programs for diverse audiences, serving over 100,000 visitors annually• Conducted action research on Brooklyn Museum Education practices.
