After graduating from Salem State University I began working at the American Cancer Society as a Community Development Manger. I was able to gain valuable experience supporting student and communities in cancer education, advocacy, and fundraising. After this experience I decided to pursue a more clinical focused career, attending Boston College School of Social work in the clinical Children, Youth, and Family track. Through field placement I was able to gain clinical skills supporting youth who present with mental health concerns.
