Writing mobile web services, primarily using Java and Spring Boot. The services are deployed to AWS via Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform. AWS services used include ECS (Fargate), API Gateway, Lambda, Application Load Balancer (EC2), AWS OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, SQS, and other supporting products like VPC, IAM, and so on.One large project that I have owned from inception to production release is a Content Search web service. The services index many hundreds of thousands of religious content (ie scripture, text from spoken messages, magazine articles, and other forms of text content) into an ElasticSearch database, in a plain text form as well as HTML form, along with other metadata like publication date, title, speaker, etc. The client-facing service converts a simplified request object (for mobile efficiency) into a complex ElasticSearch compatible request, returning highlights/snippets and byte location of occurrences of the searched terms/phrases.

Tuned the java heap for improved performance.BASH Scripting - Create scripts that quickly and consistently deploy and manage many different Linux applications and programs including OpenAM, OpenDJ, Tomcat application server Apache HTTPD server, fstab, NFS mounts, etc.
