I loved my job as a lifeguard. Engaging in conversation with people surrounding a sporting environment is a perfect job setting for me. This is a key factor as to why I decided to pursue this job and complete my training course to become an STA Level 2 Award for Pool Lifeguard. Responsibility, communication, teamwork, awareness, attention all come to mind when I reflect on this work experience. All of these skills have helped myself develop and progress into higher education studying Sport and PE.
