CurrentPlan, develop, implement, direct, review and evaluate the programs and activities related to instructional and information technology. Programs and activities include use of technology to improve staff productivity and student learning; Use of technology to maintain data and meet reporting requirements; Coordination of purchase, installation, repair and use of electronic equipment, software, computers and peripherals; Coordination of staff training to optimize technology use; Development, optimization and oversight of district technology budget. Takes initiative in developing and implementing a district wide technology plan.AccomplishmentsResponsible for the day to day technology operations of school district which has 5 schools and 4 support buildings. Approximately 1500 workstations/laptops and servers. Replaced failing network infrastructure with a Cisco Systems network infrastructure utilizing Cisco 4507R series chassis and blades, Cisco 3750 Switches and Cisco 2811 ISR Routers.Upgraded to Meraki Wireless District Wide Implemented BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)Removed Novell Network systems and converted to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Active Directory.Removed Novell Groupwise E-mail system and replaced with Google Docs.
