Working at The Lion Brewery, a manufacturing company producing beverages worth hundreds of thousands of dollars weekly, my responsibilities included managing a large, diverse production staff, optimizing production by continually searching for areas of new or recurring downtime and implementing changes to mitigate those occurrences. I planned and optimized line changeovers, and developed an arsenal of effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills, coordinating with maintenence to eliminate problems as they occurred. I managed over 100 union employees with a strong focus on team building. My efforts contributed greatly to the company’s increased production, even setting production records by working with supervisory, management, logistics, and materials staff to maximize product throughput.

Worked in all weather conditions operating a variety of pieces of heavy-equipment. During my time at Powell Developments, I accrued thousands of hours of experience with; Excavators of all sizes up to 40 tons, Bulldozers of all sizes, Front-End wheel loaders of all sizes, Front-End track loaders, Telescopic off-road fork-lifts, Gradall, Mine trucks, and more. I often operated these pieces of equipment in close proximity to houses and other structures laying in infrastructure, clearing out lots for new construction, and digging foundations.

Often taught groups of five-or-more how to snowboard. One of the only instructors at the time that was able to instruct very high-level riding. This job requires immense amounts of patience, thoughtfulness, and attention-to-detail. I take much pride in the work I did while working as a snowboard instructor, and look forward to getting back into the job in the near future.
