As a truck driver at United Rentals, my main focus is delivering construction equipment promptly to customers. Alongside timely delivery comes customer satisfaction.In addition to the delivery of equipment and customer satisfaction, I am responsible for legal and regulatory compliance in regards to commercial transportation. While we all manage ourselves, we help assure co-workers are abiding by taking a "you see it, you own it" approach.

As senior truck driver at Sunbelt Rentals -Ypsilanti, I was tasked with setting up the transportation division of this new branch. My goal was to take a small yard and make it flow as efficiently as possible.In addition to aiding the start up of this branch, I focused on customer satisfaction upon delivering construction equipment to local customers in a timely manner. I also made it a priority that all drivers adhered to local and state guidelines surrounding commercial transportation.

As a senior Yardhand, I took responsibility in organizing other yardhands on a daily basis. I delegated yard organization and equipment retrieval to other yardhands. I personally kept equipment washed, organized the shop, and went on local parts runs and small equipment deliveries.
