21 year serving soldier for the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards from Feb 2000 - Sept 2022FOOTBALL COACH - I have been coaching Football for 13yrs and am currently a UEFA B licensed Coach and I'm currently the Foundation Phase Lead Coach for Aldershot Town FC since Sept 2021.I have coached Football for the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards and also the Infantry. I have vast experience in coachingMini Football U4-U6sU7s - U12s Aldershot Town FCU13s , U14s & U16s Aldershot Town FC U17s U18s Aldershot Town FCPHYSICAL TRAINING - Planned and conducted Physical Training activities along with risk assessments to ensure the Soldiers remain fighting fit. This varies in numbers from 20 to 40 individuals. Maintaining Physical fitness if paramount in the Armed forces and this leads to physical tests which i have conducted ensuring soldiers meet the demands required, Those that fail for reasons of being unfit or obese I then create and conduct Remedial Training along with Nutrition advice making them feel better in themselves but also meet the standards set in the Army.I am a team player and can work as a team or own my own, I strive to be the best I can at what I do, I have a huge passion for developing people whether that is in the Military as a football coach or as a fitness instructor ( Able, Disabled or Pregnant Clients) as it brings with it so much reward chaging peoples lives and improving health and giving confidence back regarding their self image.Leadership and Management - there are currently 28 soldiers in my Platoon and i am responsible for planning conducting Weekly Training programmes as well as interviewing and reporting on soldiers 6 monthly and yearly, This ensures Career Progression and also enables soldiers to adapt should they not be progressing for various reasons.I have planned and conducted three week Machine Gun training Cadres along with a weeks Live firing creating Range Action Safety Plans and also Medical cover.I am currently studying the following courses which will be completed by September 2021 before i leave the Army.Complete my Three courses that i am currently on :Level 3 Diploma in Personal TrainingLevel 3 Award in Exercise Considerations for Independently Active, Older AdultsLevel 3 Award in Programming and Supervising Exercise with Disabled ClientsLevel 3 Exercise Referral Diploma & Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes certificate Level 4 Low Back Pain Certificate Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Exercise Instructor Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates
