Working in events and hospitality has become a growing passion over the past few years. Not only do I find it personally enjoyable and interesting but it's also aided in making me a more well-rounded and skilled individual. I've had multiple jobs within service and the events industry all of which have given me a new skill set to carry on to my next job. All of these jobs relied heavily on good customer care, quick efficient service and high levels of communication. These are all traits that over the years I have learnt to develop and still continue to actively seek to improve on. As a bartender, making sure the customer is satisfied with their service is the ultimate priority and all of these traits directly correlate to ensuring this. In my current job role, I have significantly developed my skills and enjoyed a successful time thus far. During this time I have regularly been involved with some of the highest sales makers during the big event days such as the home matches during the Six Nations and have become acclimatised to the busy nature of a popular pub within London. Alongside this, I am a student at St Mary's University. Here I currently study Business Management with the option of a Placement Year. Business has been a key interest for the past few years, so I look forward to learning more in the coming years and further developing my skill set.
