Matthew Forgue is a licensed attorney with experience in the business/corporate department of an AmLaw 200 law firm. He has performed work in the practice areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial transactions, small and emerging businesses, international transactions, securities regulation, private equity, and healthcare (Stark and Anti-Kickback). He has a particular talent for interpreting, negotiating, and drafting complex legal documents. Major responsibilities undertaken by Matthew include negotiating an eight-figure private equity deal and being part of a team that handled a multi-national, nine-figure asset sale of a Fortune 500 company.Matthew also has extensive international experience, having taught English for a year in Hangzhou, China and served two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Vanadzor, Armenia. His experience in the Peace Corps has broadened his view of the world and taught him patience and perseverance.
