As I reflect on my journey through the world of procurement and supply chain management, I’m filled with gratitude for each experience that has shaped my career. Currently at Bell Flight in Amarillo since January 2024, I've immersed myself in the intricate dance of purchasing processes. This role not only allows me to hone my analytical skills but also lets me leverage my knack for communication. Building solid relationships with suppliers is a thrill for me; it’s where I find joy in aligning our objectives with operational goals. Every day brings new challenges that fuel my passion for this industry.Before Bell Flight, I spent six months as an Operations Associate at GOSS where I honed my customer service skills and gained hands-on experience in inventory management and sales. This role taught me the importance of understanding client needs while maintaining efficient operations. It was here that I realized how vital strong supplier relationships are to achieving success in any procurement strategy.During my time as an Activities Director at Laity Lodge Youth Camp, I developed leadership skills while organizing various programs for youth. It was rewarding to witness personal growth in others while fostering teamwork and collaboration among participants. This experience showed me how essential it is to create environments where people can thrive. Whether it’s guiding young campers or negotiating contracts with suppliers, I’m passionate about bringing out the best in people.I graduated with an MBA from Kansas Wesleyan University in May 2023. The knowledge gained during this time has been invaluable as I've navigated real-world challenges in procurement. The intersection of theory and practice has empowered me to approach problems with a strategic mindset. It’s exciting to apply what I've learned directly into my work at Bell Flight.
