During his career he has raised more than $500M in venture and debt financings creating more than $1.6B in realized value for investors. He has extensive experience negotiating with, selling to and supporting enterprise software solutions and cloud based SaaS offerings to some of the largest corporations in world including Verizon, Microsoft, Viacom, Disney, AT&T, IBM, Comcast, Sprint, Johnson & Johnson, Ericsson, and Johnson Controls.Prior to Qumulo, he was CEO of Optimum Energy and a board member at Vitesse Semiconductor (Nasdaq: VTSS). Optimum's SaaS platform was the first to deploy realtime machine learning and applied data science to maximize efficiency of building systems. Vitesse Semiconductor was a fabless semiconductor company which developed high-performance Ethernet integrated circuits solutions for Carrier, Mobile, Enterprise, and IoT networks. Vitesse was successfully sold to Microsemi Corporation (Nasdaq: MSCC) on April 28, 2015 for $389M. Previously, he was President and COO of World Wide Packets, where he raised $68M in venture equity and debt. WWP was successful in deploying its products at the largest MSO's in North America; Tier 1 wireline carriers in EMEA and securing a contract for global deployment of WWP products throughout the AT&T network.
