This set of tools and scripts facilitated communication between multiple pre-existing language databases and tools to streamline and automate the process.− 100% reduction in missing translations. All untranslated strings are now immediately identified, and appropriate action is taken.− Reduced cost of translations. Previously any new string would be sent to external translators, now if that string existing in any connected product it would be used for free.>> Lobby Search Filter: Charged with coding, testing, and integrating a rapid search feature.− Integrated Google Analytics into search screen so user’s behavior could be better understood.

With a very low senior-junior developer ratio, this team encouraged growth through exploration and experimentation, while ensuring quality through very strict delivery requirements. Requiring only 1 month of dev, this tool allowed developers to more accurately track time spent on individual tasks, improving estimates and tracking accuracy.>> Search Alchemy: The proprietary game-dev tool used by this team (Alchemy) had no search functionality. This was a massive hindrance when debugging, so I wrote an extension program in my own time that identified where various resources and variables were being used.− Personal reduction of 80% in search time when debugging. >> Game Templating: We met a mission critical company black-date because of the 4 for 1 template procedure I proposed and created. Previously games were being created from scratch, despite often having mostly cosmetic differences, I couldn’t abide by this inefficiency.
