    I worked directly with General Electric to develop software to perform rigid motion correction within a list-mode reconstruction for the GE Signa PET/MR scanner. The software is integrated into the standard GE software toolbox. The scheme uses an external camera to track the motion of the patient's head. The recorded motion is used to correct the MR gradients in real-time, and it is then used during the PET reconstruction to correct the PET data. Thus motion corrected PET and MR images can be obtained, which are co-registered. The hardware and software is currently being prepared to be distributed to PET/MR research centres around the world.
