Ecolution Consulting's main service offerings are Green Star Consulting, LEED Consulting, EDGE, Consulting, Building Commissioning Process, Net Zero Consulting, Building Performance, Energy Modeling, SANS XA-10400 Compliance and Sustainability & Green Building Consulting. My main responsibilities are summarized below:1) Sustainable Design and Planning by:- Collaborating with architects, designers, and project teams to integrate sustainable design principles into building projects- Conducting feasibility studies and providing input on sustainable building strategies, including energy efficiency, water conservation, material selection, and indoor environmental quality- Applying knowledge of green building certifications and rating systems (such as LEED and/or EDGE) to guide design decisions and achieve sustainability goals- Conducting research and analysis on sustainable building materials, considering factors such as embodied energy, life cycle assessment, and environmental impact- Evaluating water consumption patterns and identifying opportunities for water conservation and efficient use2) Energy Efficiency Analysis and Optimization by:- Performing energy audits and analyzing building systems to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements- Developing energy models and simulations to evaluate the performance of various building design options and technologies (though EGDE or similar energy modelling software's)- Recommending and implementing energy-efficient measures, such as lighting upgrades, HVAC system optimization, renewable energy integration, and building automation systems as a result of on-site energy audits

The University of Cape Town's Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) uses field research, policy analysis, and modeling of energy and economic systems to create and improve knowledge of the energy systems at the sectoral, regional, national, and sub-continental scales, with a focus on South Africa and the SADC region.In SATIM, the group holds the only full energy sector model for South Africa, combining electricity and liquid fuels sectors on the supply side with industrial, transportation and residential users on the demand side. My role at the ESRG was mainly related to the research of reduction technologies and pathways on the demand side, specifically in the cement production industry. Beyond research, my responsibilities were to compile and analyze data from various sources, such as energy consumption patterns, renewable energy potential, and environmental impact assessments. I utilized statistical software and other analytical tools to draw meaningful insights and support research findings. Additionally, I prepared technical reports, research summaries, and presentations to communicate research findings. I was also responsible for ensuring accurate documentation of experimental procedures, data sources, and analysis methods for future reference.

Specialist experience achieved in:- Front Arena / Absa Trading Platform- Curve Creation & Valuation - The booking of complex structures through the combination of multiple financial Instruments

The Gen-A Graduate Programme involved 3 rotations over 18 months in the Global Markets division under the Corporate and Investment Banking sector at Absa Group Ltd.1) Equities Trading: 3 months 2) Corporate Equity Derivative Sales: 4 months - Involved specialising in bespoke hedging strategies for Corporate and Private Clients through the use of financial derivatives.3) Middle Office Analyst:-Structured Credit Trading: 3 months-ROA (Rest of Africa) Trading: 8 monthsAdditionally, the Programme involved 3 summits that were delivered by Duke Education in partnership with Duke University. Most notably, the second summit involved a consulting project consisting of a 10 person team that would travel to Nairobi, Kenya and represent Absa South Africa. The team consisted of graduates within Absa, tasked to provide digital solutions for Absa Kenya. I was afforded the opportunity to lead my team in the solution process and ultimately present our product to the Absa Kenya Executive Committee.

I tutored a total of 12 students in High School Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Advanced Mathematics. Syllabi included NSC, IEB, Camridge AS and A Level.

Worked on the mass balances dealing with the catalytic cracker and crude distilling processes by cross checking flow meters from first principles (using energy balances) to flow meter readings. Developed an interactive tool that is able to identify flows across flow-meters and perform an automated calculation to determine discrepancies in order to identify which flow-meters are reading incorrectly and how soon they need to be replaced.

Voted into the Residence House Committee as Events Coordinator where I managed a budget of approximately R180000 and planned key events such as the annual Clarinus Bash and the Residence Formal. Gained extensive experience in people management, leadership, organisation and events planning.
