Drafted memoranda on complex legal topics including precedents for appeals, sentencing guidelines, and summarizing records and trial transcripts from district court cases. Reviewed client cases to assist in identifying issues that may be raised on appeal. Assisted in drafting and reviewing appellate briefs and Anders' briefs to be submitted before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Further developed research skills by using WestLaw and Lexis+.

Assisting the Department of Healthcare and Family Services in the administration of Illinois’ Medical Assistance Program through research, policy implementation support, document drafting, procurement support, and other tasks as needed. As the single largest source of health coverage in the State of Illinois, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services is uniquely positioned to improve healthcare outcomes for their customers and all Illinoisans through the Medicaid program. To assist in increasing quality the Office of Medicaid Innovation is often tasked with connecting world-renowned faculty and staff within the University System to Department of Healthcare and Family Services through project orders. In an effort to foster continuous innovation I am required to maintain working knowledge of introduced, ongoing, and completed legislation as well as identifying qualified individuals to provide expertise. Experience includes drafting and revising intergovernmental agreements, project orders, partnership agreements, memorandum’s of understanding, and state plan amendments, among others.

Provided support in numerous areas throughout the duration of employment. Primarily responsible for directing youth baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer. Each sport presented differing levels of involvement, however, I led a seasonal staff of over 50 employees, developed and maintained a daily facility schedule, and engaged community members to discuss successes and areas for improvement. Ultimately I was named President of the Travel Baseball committee by league participants in 2019 and remained in the position until my departure in 2022. During my tenure baseball and softball programs saw a remarkable increase in interest and participation, resulting in record turn-outs every year. Alongside my responsibilities as an employee I also volunteer coached 13U baseball, 14U baseball, and 15U baseball over 3 summers.
