I am a synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Cambridge. My research group is interested in the development of new chemical reactivity ideas using catalysis. We are particularly focused on palladium-catalyzed C–H activation of aliphatic molecules, photoredox catlaysis for alkylamine synthesis and high oxidation copper catalysis. In addition, we also have active research programmes in synthesis driven chemical biology such as new methods for protein and nucleic acid functionalization. Our research is also underpinned by the use of high throughput technologies and digital chemistry.
