- Responsibility for the development and implementation of all aspects of the Company’s investor relations strategy and programme, including establishing relationships with a broad range of financial market participants and service providers- Establish a proactive, extensive and dynamic government engagement and advocacy strategy and programme, including establishing relationships with key political and departmental stakeholders, relevant industry organisations and interest groups- Management of media engagement, including responding directly to inquiries and providing assistance to executives in writing speeches, preparing letters and drafting opinion pieces or editorials- Provide advice in relation to corporate and employee communication channels (corporate profile, website, social media, annual report) to ensure consistency and accuracy with external messaging, and in conjunction with external service providers manage the implementation of internal communications- Develop a programme to optimise SunRice’s image with external stakeholders such as communities, suppliers, joint venture and business partners, and NGOs - Advise management on potential reputational implications (in relation to all external stakeholders) of any relevant changes in SunRice’s business policies and/or practices- Manage financial support of charitable or civic undertakings, to ensure that these are strategically aligned with SunRice’s broader corporate values and objectives- Assist Chairman in developing and implementing engagement strategies and activities with rice growers and shareholders

- Provide advice on investor relations strategy and counsel, including senior counsel to management and boards of ASX-listed and non-listed companies and corporations;- Senior counsel and input to the development of detailed market communication strategies to achieve the corporate objectives of ASX-listed and non-listed companies, and in turn the implementation of the strategies;- Lead role in the development/drafting of communication materials and public documents, including ASX announcements, media releases, presentations, Q+A documents, information memos and briefing documents etc;- Lead role on corporate activities (mergers, acquisitions, trade sales, divestments) relating to clients, to provide excellent counsel and advice in relation to the messaging, issues management, key market relationships and media management;- Issues identification and active contribution to the solving of client issues – including those relating to corporate strategy, finance/funding and operational challenges etc – through investor/market communication strategies;- Proactive role in maintaining and managing networks and relationships; and- Proactive role in business development activities.

The Group Communications Manager has overall responsibility for all internal and external communication, including stakeholder relations, employee relations, community affairs, corporate brand positioning and sustainability/corporate responsibility, as well as advising the Senior Management Team on communication issues and challenges.

- Assist in development of company strategy implementation and planning- As member of Executive Committee, oversee and monitor company operations and activities to ensure consistency with company strategy - Develop and implement the investor relations and external affairs strategy to inform stakeholders about company activities, financial and non-financial performance and strategy - Engage in regular and direct communication with all external stakeholders including investors, analysts, potential shareholders, media, joint venture partners and community groups - Establish strong working relationships with a broad and relevant network of investors, analysts, potential shareholders, journalists, community groups, energy industry and political contacts- Draft news announcements for release to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and media- Coordinate closely with other areas of the business, especially senior management, to ensure the internal communication of accurate, timely and relevant information- Oversee and coordinate Annual Report production, AGM planning, brand development, sustainability policy implementation and the production of marketing material as appropriate- Organise individual and group meetings, seminars, roadshows, site visits and media interviews to promote the company and to provide networking opportunities for senior management- Provide regular feedback and briefings to Executive Committee and Board on above issues

- Analyse all developing political and security situations across the Asia Pacific (including China) to assess likely impacts and risks to clients' operations and staff.- Maintain watching brief on all existing political and security situations that impacted on clients across the Asia Pacific (including China). - Editorial and managerial responsibility for daily email to clients updating on political and security risk situations across the region.- Manage all information flows to clients on political and security events in the region.- Undertake briefings to specific clients and webcasts to the broader client base on relevant existing and emerging issues that could impact on their operations.- Visit selected countries to undertake situational analysis, to build a useful network of contacts and to assess the adequacy of potential/existing service providers. Countries visited in this capacity included Sri Lanka, Thailand (including the Southern Districts), the Philippines, China and India.
