Responsible for selection, management, and development of direct reports. Collaborate across the site with the departmental teams and regional quality lead. Lead customer, internal, and third party audits of the facilities and external manufacturers. Implement quality programs within the location to ensure compliance with company, governmental, customer requirements and expectations. Review raw materials and ingredients for compliance to specifications. Review exception alerts, product quality, and proactively communicate with facility operations management. Manage and maintain customer relationship tracking entries, corrective actions, and root cause analysis. Drive continuous improvement and maintain site FSSC compliance.

Responsible for selection, management, and development of up to six direct reports. Collaborate across the site with the refinery, crush quality team, and regional quality lead. Lead customer, internal, and third party audits of the refinery facilities. Implement all quality programs within the location to ensure compliance with company, governmental, customer requirements and expectations. Review raw materials and ingredients for compliance to specifications. Manage refinery site hazardous waste program and ensure compliance with CFR 49. Review exception alerts, product quality, and proactively communicate with site quality leader and facility operations management. Manage and maintain refinery customer relationship tracking entries, corrective actions, and root cause analysis. Currently managing changeover from BRC standard to ISO 22000 for site.

Perform bench-top testing to identify chemical and physical characteristics of products using titrations and analytical equipment including but not limited to gas chromatography, microwave plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, flame atomic absorption, graphite furnace, refractive index, & nuclear magnetic resonance. Generate new and modify existing SOP's, provide support during audits, and support on-boarding of new processes while adhering to GMP's.

Work with site scheduler and lab to ship and receive bulk oilseeds. Troubleshoot equipment and maintain sanitation.
