Previously I have worked across a number of industries in admin positions to more hands on positions. I began an accounting degree in 2014 to refine my skills and enhance my portfolio. Life forced me to take a break, however, I am now in the process of closing out my degree with the aim of completing my CA. My breadth of experience has given me a well rounded and practical approach to the challenges faced in my current position at SPA. Within this role, I report directly to the Financial Controller. I specialise in payroll across a number of awards, EBAs, and individual agreements. My other duties span across all areas of accounting, such as month end and preparation of monthly management reports, and daily ad-hoc tasks to assist all levels of the company from senior management to operations.My study and experience has revealed my passion is in management accounting, which I have used to provide information to managers to help with strategic decisions, identify problems and provide solutions.
