I worked on a project commissioned by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities and endorsed by Centennial College, the Ontario Aerospace Council, and the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada. I conducted telephone interviews with Senior Managers and CEO’s of aerospace companies, assisting in the development of a survey instrument, and consulted on methods. I also worked on a project commissioned by the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum addressing the challenges that new technologies create for skilled-trades workers in New Brunswick. This project required me to complete interviews in English and French with a variety of people knowledgeable about the Canadian Apprenticeship System. The goal of this project was to provide recommendations to the apprenticeship board about how to address the challenges of integrating new technologies in the apprenticeship system. Show less
