I assist a sociology professor and the Dean of the Criminal Justice Department with their research on mental illness and its connection to spirituality and roadside memorials respectively. I am doing data entry, interviews, interview transcriptions, doing preliminary research, contacting subjects for interviews, among other random duties.

I also was responsible for instructing classes on basic climbing safety and knowledge so that it is sufficient for the student to become a certified climber.
