My main responsibility was the processing of deliveries, warehouse control and merchandising the majority of the store. I managed a team of up to fifty employees. Policy also instructed staff to swap roles for six months of the year providing me with the further experience of running the front of store and the multimedia department whilst being accountable for administration. Toys R US also gave me the opportunity to be employed in the flagship store in Brent Cross London for two years giving me great pleasure to work in a fast paced high energy environment. Some other skills this position covered were customer service, warehousing, selling skills, training, recruitment whilst also dealing with executives and administration and payroll. During my time at Toys R US I won awards for my store most notably the ‘Merchandising Manager of the Year’ for great standards and sales performance.
