In 2008 I moved within the Ramboll Whitbybird IT department from Support to the Applications team, my main responsibilities in this new role cover:• Maintaining the SharePoint farm including web front end servers and SQL database servers.• Resolving technical SharePoint issues.• SharePoint backup and antivirus maintenance• SharePoint administration via central administration web application.• Monitoring our external facing websites and supplying statistics to aid the business with the use of WebTrends software.• Keep Users informed of service events, actions and opportunities that are likely to impact their ability to pursue their day-to-day work.• Perform initial diagnosis, categorisation and prioritisation of reported Incidents.• Receive and process change requests and service requests.• Act as the User representative within the IT Group.• Liaising with external vendors to handle the procurement of services as requested by the Technical Services group.

I rejoined Ramboll Whitbybird with whom I completed my work experience in August 2007. At this time they merged with a Large Danish company named Ramboll and were rapidly expanding as a business. I came on board during a very busy and interesting time for the existing IT team. I was exposed to many large and small scale IT projects ranging from IP address changes in our London office for 500+ PC’s to setting up new regional offices with the required Hardware, software and network infrastructure. I learnt a wide range of skills in this job including:• Providing Windows XP desktop support.• Good knowledge of Windows server 2003 technologies (inc. installation and configuration).• Active directory management.• Vast knowledge of installing and troubleshooting a vast amount of engineering software packages.• Working with Microsoft exchange server and public folders.• NetApp snapshot backup recovery, familiar with other NetApp technologies.• Working with Hardware, replacing PC hardware, upgrading HP servers.• Cisco switch port configuration (i.e. Telnet
