With more than a decade of dedicated service in firefighting and emergency medicine, I bring invaluable experience in leadership, emergency response, and emergency management. My career has consisted of roles as an emergency medical technician, firefighter, fire prevention and code enforcement officer, company officer and Lieutenant. Within leadership roles, I have led several successful initiatives including the implementation of comprehensive department software solutions, the revision and development of new guidelines and procedures, standardization of orientation and training, and expansion of public information and education programs.Through my years in the fire service, I've developed my skills along with a calm, decisive approach to decision-making under stress; critical to productive command and safe operations. I have had the pleasure of leading highly skilled teams which consistently provide outstanding results. As an instructor and mentor, I encourage safe, effective, and aggressive tactics, developing professional firefighting through regular training and education. I'm eager to network and to use my experience moving forward to improve public safety and foster organizational success.
