While currently working at Grafton Inc., I provide support to people served by assisting in the development and implementation of all Support Plans, including spiritual life supports, assisting people in achieving their personal goals and desires, providing interaction and choices for activities that support a meaningful day, and supporting people to be independent in activities of daily living;-Assist with information gathering for Personal Outcome Measures, and other assessments;-Assist people with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly home by following safety and infection control procedures; educates people about maintaining homes;-Maintain and expand skills and knowledge relevant to providing high quality support and services. Obtaining and maintaining all required certifications and trainings and applying the information to support people served;-Maintain open communication and cooperative work effort with Lead DSP and other staff to assure quality and continuity of support to people served;-Report and document routine and unusual events including completing daily logs, accident reports, outcome data sheets, etc. in a concise, understandable, and legible manner;-Assist people with fiscal management while safeguarding their funds. This may include completing ledgers, reconciling accounts -Ensure that people exercise their rights and that rights are not restricted without due process, ensures people are treated with dignity and respect;

Personal and Household ServicesAs a Direct Support Professional I provided support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities by promoting choice, personal growth, and independence in their community. I assisted with activities of community integration and completed related work as required

As a Teacher’s Aide for behavioral autistic students, I managed the daily operations of the classroom which involves ensuring a safe and supportive environment of students and staff. Some areas that I supervised were, within the classroom or other instructional settings. I assisted with programing students’ academic abilities and needs and identifiers related to goals and objectives. I worked with parents and other program staff which compromise a student’s treatment team to develop a comprehensive IEP for each student.

As a banquet server I, set up for events, carry trays, serve guests and clean up at the event's conclusion. I set up including putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and putting up a buffet. As a banquet server's duties during the event can vary based on the situation, but, in general, I must have been able to focus on the job while staying on my feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds. I had to have good communication, as is being able to follow directions efficiently and meeting the physical demands of the job. A positive attitude while on the job is also essential.Banquet servers must adhere to health and safety standards at all times, even when closing down at the end of the event, which may include breaking down the table set up and taking tablecloths and linens to the laundry.

As a Team Member, I maintained responsibility to interact with customers which include, taking and receiving orders, processing payments, and responding appropriately to whatever the customer needs. I had to prepare the products based on the company’s service philosophy. I must also follow the standards when it comes to maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the work environment.

As a McDonalds Crew Member I, worked to uphold the aims and brand of McDonalds. I worked all areas to include Kitchen Crew, Counter Crew, and Maintenance Crew. I have worked a variety of shifts and was assigned to train new employees. The Kitchen Crew works to provide finest quality food to customers to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. In food preparation and cooking the wide variety of food, it involved using a broad range of equipment and tools. McDonald’s needs to produce orders to a consistently high standard of service and understands that quality control is vital.The Counter Crew works to serve the customer by being friendly and efficient in offering a pleasant experience to them. This crew has the responsibility for a good customer service. It is important that a Counter Crew must possess good customer service skills. They are expected to provide customers with a quick and accurate service and to show sensitivity to their individual needs, both from behind the till as well as in the dining areas.Maintenance Crew works consistently to maintain high standards of cleanliness. They make the restaurant sparkle both in and out of the dining room and where the food is prepared. They undergo thorough training to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Maintenance crew learns how to use a variety of cleaning utensils and chemical cleaning products along with the correct protective equipment.

As a package handler I was responsible for the movement of trailers to and from the unload/load doors and throughout the yard. I was also responsible for the physical loading, unloading and sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing packages in a safe and efficient manner. To ensure packages reached they required destination I was responsible for, determining the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information and sorting packages accordingly.
