Matthew is a former graduate from the University of California, Davis. There, he earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his B.S. in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Sustainability in the Built Environment. Matthew continued his education at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning his M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a Leaders in Sustainability Certificate. Within UCLA's Civil & Environmental Engineering department, Matthew has worked in several labs. His work consisted of antibiotic-resistant pathogens in urban runoff and stormwater and on electrochemical water treatment.
