I am a Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto and University of Toronto Scarborough. I am also Co-Director of the Environmental Governance Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs. My research involves questions of global environmental governance, complex systems, and social constructivist theory. Recently, I have explored the concept of experimental governance. I am the author of *Climate Governance at the Crossroads: Experimenting with a Global Response after Kyoto* (Oxford University Press 2011) and *Ozone Depletion and Climate Change: Constructing a Global Response* (State University of New York Press 2005). I co-edited with Alice Ba *Contending Perspectives on Global Governance* (Routledge 2005) and have published articles in a number of academic journals including International Studies Review; Annals of the Association of American Geographers; Review of Policy Research; Millennium; and Cooperation and Conflict.
