While I currently serve in the US Air Force Reserve, I am continuing in the role I was originally assigned in 2012. In addition, I provide operational and administrative leadership for 12 supervisors and their teams as we conduct near-real time exploitation and analysis of signals and imagery-derived data from multiple sources.My deliverables in this role have included improving efficiency 83% by overhauling a key process and collaborating to reorganize workflow architecture at 5 National Guard sites.

While serving on active duty, I maintained qualifications as an Imagery Mission Supervisor, Geospatial Intelligence Analyst, Geospatial Reports Editor, and Imagery Analyst, completing assignments in California, Nebraska, Afghanistan, and Iraq.As a supervisor, I oversaw the work of 40 analysts supporting more than 1,000 missions, examining more than 10,000 hours of video, and compiling 9,500 target packages. To illustrate the amount of work completed by our organization’s 2 squadrons, I created a tool to track mission hours, man hours, and reporting requirements which provided our senior leaders with a clear picture of resource utilization.Concurrently I also served as a Geospatial Reports Editor and corrected 1,000 errors in 2,000 intelligence products.As a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst, I scrutinized full-motion video (FMV), electro-optical (EO), infrared (IR), synthetic aperture radar (SAR), national technical Means (NTM), advanced geospatial intelligence (AGI), multi-spectral imagery (MSI), hyperspectral Imagery (HSI), as well as composite imagery. In 4 months I developed 130 image products and exploited more than 300 hours of FMV.During my initial assignment, I conducted research to provide daily reporting on adversary military, political, and economic developments to support decision-making at tactical and strategic levels. While deployed, I managed human intelligence source operations and validated more nearly 4,000 reports. Though not assigned in a leadership role, I provided regular peer coaching that boosted our productivity by 50%.Throughout my career I have looked for ways to improve products and routine tasks: I standardized collection practices and reporting templates, re-wrote an emergency protocol binder, defined liaison cell coordination requirements, and maintained a 99% reporting accuracy. In other words, with a “glass half full” perspective, I have helped my organizations increase performance by focusing on solutions rather than problems.
