Physical Acoustics Research InternGustavus Adolphus College May 2015 - Jun 2015During the first half of the summer of 2015, I worked in an acoustics lab developing methods that enabled us to use a technique known as Refracto-Vibrometry to image acoustic fields and measure the speed of sound through heterogeneous solids such as bone. I am the lead author on a paper detailing this work, and presented the results of this study at the International Modal Analysis Conference in January 2016.
