This involved working directly with RIDEM employees and conducting extensive independent research on national, state, and local stormwater programs. The goal of the NEMO program is to provide decision makers with the skills and resources that they need to identify local water quality problems and to adopt effective pollution controls. My role in fulfilling this goal was to manage the Low Impact Development (LID) Atlas Map: a web based mapping service that allowed users to locate LID sites across the state of Rhode Island.
