About Matthew J Geng

Creative and analytical thinker, with a passion for problem solving and finding opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of whatever work I am involved in. For the past 20 years I have worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry and represented both the sponsor and the CRO side of the Clinical Research business. As an Analyst, I have thrived in working with both Project and Financial Leaders to ensure both sides understand clearly the expectations for and the results of their efforts, and then are able to concisely develop and communicate plans for optimizing performance.I am focused on bridging the gap between Operational, Financial, and Executive Leadership, to ensure cross-functional alignment on operating models that maximize the financial health of the business. Managing all levels of project finances I have personally overseen hundreds of projects from proposal to completion. I have been able to directly influence the financial performance across these studies and realized several hundreds of millions of dollars in additional revenues through both internal mitigation efforts and collaboration with external business partners.Core Competencies: Earned Value Analysis, Cost to Complete, Analytical Design, Revenue Recognition, Pricing, Cash Flow Management, Forecasting, Financial Mitigation, Process Development.
